Stainless-steel V-scraper for automatic cleaning in pig buildings. The 150 mm CE-certified system is safely programmable, low-maintenance and helps keep manure passages clean and dry at low operating cost.
The V-shaped CRD scraper regularly and thoroughly cleans manure passages without damaging the floor. Running it several times a day automates routine cleaning efficiently while keeping operating costs low.
The scraper is made from stainless steel, is CE certified and stands 150 mm high. Hinged flaps open and close automatically under pressure from the scraper, maintaining an airtight separation between areas.
Two winches provide smooth movement: one winds in the rope while the other pays it out. The scraper pulley has a diameter of 250 mm and can be installed horizontally or vertically.
The patented rope can be repaired without knots and is available in 8, 10 or 12 mm diameter. Maximum breaking loads are:
Frayed rope fibres do not present an injury risk to the animals’ legs.
The drainage channel separates liquids from solid material. Its wear-resistant PVC profile contains a rotating spray nozzle with a 5 mm opening to help prevent blockages.
A floor gradient of 6–8% towards the channel encourages rapid drying, supporting growth performance, reducing health risks and helping to lower ammonia emissions.
The profiled sections are supplied in 4-metre lengths and fitted to the blocks or floor slab before the concrete is poured. Central guidance applies the pulling force below the scraper’s centre of gravity, helping to prevent jamming.
The horn and red warning light can operate together. The light flashes during operation and the horn sounds every 5 seconds.
