Marine-chain / square-chain scraper
Highly robust, fully galvanised chain scraper with marine or square chain. The energy-efficient system cleans manure passages automatically, saves time and supports better livestock hygiene.
Robust chain scraper for any building layout
The CRD chain scraper is easy to adapt to a wide range of livestock-building configurations. It is simple to operate, energy efficient and available with either a marine chain or square chain.
The scraper is fully galvanised, CE certified and 250 mm high, providing a strong, corrosion-resistant solution for clean manure passages.
Flexible control
Electrical control is available manually or through timer programming. Multiple control units can operate between 1 and 8 passages.
Automatic frost protection
Optional frost protection activates when the temperature falls below the selected threshold. The scraper then runs for 10 seconds every 15 minutes to prevent freezing.
Safe end-position system
The scraper stops automatically at the end of the passage. Detection options include a mechanical switch, a magnetic sensor embedded in the concrete or a proximity sensor. The proximity sensor keeps routes clear for animals and farm machinery.
Available scraper options
- Brush strip: for thorough cleaning of concrete passageways.
- Rubber lip: cleans effectively while protecting rubber flooring.
- Cattle-manure grid: supplied in a standard 1,000 mm length and cut to size.
- Horn and warning beacon: available separately or together. The red light flashes during operation and the horn sounds every 5 seconds.
