Manure vacuum robot for pig buildings – Porcho’Concept

Autonomous manure vacuum robot for a manure-free pig building. The compact Porcho’Concept travels beneath existing slatted floors, removes fresh and sandy manure, and supports animal welfare, working comfort and better use of manure streams.

The solution for a manure-free pig building

Pig producers face major challenges in manure management, environmental impact, energy costs, animal welfare, working conditions and regulatory compliance. CRD’s Porcho’Concept addresses these issues at source with an autonomous manure vacuum system.

The robot travels through manure pits beneath the slatted floors of existing buildings, vacuuming and removing fresh and sometimes sandy manure. Combined with building outlets, manure collection systems, digestion or micro-digestion units and floating covers, it supports better use of manure streams and a healthier environment for people and animals.

Developed for new and existing buildings

Porcho’Concept uses autonomous vacuum technology adapted to the restricted space beneath slatted floors. Its compact design allows the robot to navigate through manure pits and move between pits through an airtight, entirely mechanical access hatch that requires no power.
