Liquid Feeding LQF

Complete LQF solution for automated, precise liquid feeding. BioFEEDER sensors and OptiSORT continually adjust rations to appetite, weight and growth, while central software manages preparation, distribution and performance data.

Automated liquid feeding with precise control

LQF combines more than 30 years of liquid-feeding expertise with accurate distribution to subgroups. Robust equipment, intelligent sensors and central control software adjust feeding to the animals’ actual requirements.

The complete system manages liquid-feed preparation and distribution, monitors troughs, controls feed formulations and analyses technical performance.

Automated preparation and distribution

The software calculates the correct quantities from the selected feeding programmes and controls preparation and distribution automatically. This provides a regular, homogeneous feed supply, reliable settings and less manual work.

Targeted feeding by subgroup

When combined with OptiSORT, LQF adjusts feed composition and quantity to the weight and growth of each subgroup. This targeted approach supports more uniform batches and helps optimise carcass quality.

BioFEEDER trough sensors

BioFEEDER sensors measure the trough fill level and the time taken to consume each ration. The system analyses appetite and automatically adjusts subsequent quantities, helping to maintain feed availability while reducing waste.

Central Pilot software

LQF software brings feed data and performance indicators together. It manages formulations, schedules feeding times and monitors intake and growth. Real-time data supports rapid analysis and targeted adjustments.

Targeted dosing with OptiMED

OptiMED automatically doses treatments, acidifiers or supplements immediately after the valve, as close to the trough as possible. A dedicated line ensures that only the selected animals receive the product. The quantity is matched to feed intake and distributed evenly throughout the day.

Key benefits

  • homogeneous, consistently prepared liquid feed;
  • more frequent, smaller meals and less competition at the trough;
  • reduced waste and improved feed utilisation;
  • feeding based on appetite, weight and growth;
  • simpler management and clearer performance insight.
