Individual feeding station for up to 60 gestating sows. The ESF60 combines triple RFID verification, contactless 3D weight assessment and up to 18 feeding curves for precise rations, improved animal welfare and reduced maintenance.
Individual feeding for gestating sows
The ESF60 provides each gestating sow with an individual ration and handles up to 60 animals per station. RFID identification, optical weight assessment with a 3D camera and automated feed management work together to provide precise feeding based on stage of gestation, parity and nutritional requirements.
The station supports both static and dynamic groups and can be adapted to different farm layouts.
Triple RFID verification
Three RFID checks safeguard every stage of the feeding process. The system controls entry, confirms that the sow has entered correctly and opens the trough only when sufficient feed credit is available. This ensures that each ration reaches the right animal while limiting competition and feed theft.
Contactless 3D weight assessment
The 3D camera automatically estimates the sow’s weight at every visit, without contact or a weighing platform. This helps monitor changes in body condition and allows feeding curves to be adjusted accurately. Removing the mechanical weighing platform also reduces maintenance.
Precision feeding
The ESF60 can dispense one or two feeds. An optional micro-doser can add nutritional supplements. Each ration is tailored to support body condition, preparation for farrowing and overall herd performance.
Intuitive software
All station data is brought together in one user-friendly application. Each sow can be monitored individually, with up to 18 feeding curves available for different animal profiles.
Expandable animal management
The station can be equipped with a sorting gate, marking system, oestrus detector, second dosing unit or micro-dosing unit. These options simplify daily tasks and make animal-flow management more efficient.
Robust and low-maintenance
The all-stainless-steel construction is designed for intensive use in livestock buildings. Its proven design and the absence of a mechanical weighing platform reduce wear, breakdowns and maintenance.
