Efficient compaction of separated material
The compactor compresses residues from screening and filtration processes in livestock wastewater-treatment plants and other water-treatment systems. This reduces the liquid content of the discharged material by almost 50%.
The unit is installed downstream of a separator or discharge system. A shaftless Archimedean screw transports and presses the separated material through a filter drum. A flap at the end maintains the required back pressure.
The released press liquor is collected and returned to the storage pit.
