If you have multiple silos at one or more barns, it is crucial to know how much feed still is in your silo’s. An empty silo disrupts all your operations and it always happens on weekends or in the evening. It causes rush orders, more costs and especially stress.

With BinConnect from Nanolike, we are having a reliable level of feed at any time of the day and for every silo. In addition, a forecast is made for the next 4 days. You can easily set an alarm for a minimum stock level and order via the app at the right time, so you never have to run out of feed again. You are no longer dependent on the staff – it is all clearly organized in an app, which you can also share with your feed supplier.

How it works? In 20 minutes, you can easily install a sensor with 3 holes in 1 of the legs of the silo. The sensor measures the variation in pressure in the leg and sends this directly to the nanolike cloud. You can then see all stock levels of the silos in a simple dashboard.

The sensor measures with an 90 to 95% accuracy, depending on the size of the silo. This is sufficient to determine whether new feed needs to be ordered. It also displays the correct value when feed is stuck in the silo. The sensor can be installed without ladders and additional wiring and has no safety risks. Farms with no or poor network can also be easily connected.
